Your Profile & Experience You will have experience matching some of the following: Leading and developing a team of engineers using AI/Chatbot platforms and Event Driven Architecture.
Proven track record in managing API integrations (e.g., Zendesk, CRM systems).
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (or similar platforms like Azure, Google Cloud).
Delivering high-quality software projects while driving best practices.
Able to work independently and solve complex problems.
Experience in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban).
A desire to coach engineers and foster a high-performance culture.
Experience with Telephony/AI Voice solutions is a plus (e.g., Twilio, ElevenLabs).

The OpportunityWe are on the lookout for a passionate Technology Manager to lead and grow our Partner Assistance team in the Acquisition, Onboarding, and Service domain.
Our Partner Assistance team is dedicated to supporting our partners, helping them thrive and grow while managing significant volumes of partner contacts globally. We are also building AI-driven platforms to automate high-volume contact reasons, enhance self-service capabilities, and minimize manual handling times.
As a Technology Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end technical delivery of three major Partner-facing AI initiatives:
Partner AI Voice Agent (AIVA): Lead the automation of high-volume telephony contacts, including order cancellations, device support, and proactive outbound calling.
Partner Assistant (Chatbot): Manage the strategic migration of the Partner Chatbot from Ultimate to an internal solution across key markets.

You will coordinate complex integrations across multiple internal and third-party systems, ensuring feature parity and enhanced capabilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesAt Just Eat Takeaway, Technology Managers are accountable for the technical direction, engineering quality, and execution. You will work with your team to design and implement solutions that enhance our customer and partner experiences.
You'll be responsible for: End-to-End Delivery: Oversee the technical delivery of Partner AI Voice Agent and Partner Assistant (Chatbot).
Strategic Migration: Manage the migration of the Chatbot to an internal solution across global markets.
System Integration: Coordinate complex integrations across various internal and external systems.
Liaison & Coordination: Act as the primary technical liaison between stakeholder teams and engineering/QA squads.
Product Definition: Contribute to defining significant product features through workshops with engineering teams and Product Managers.
Technical Leadership: Collaborate with your Senior Technology Manager to define and communicate a technical roadmap.
Career Development: Help define goals for engineers and guide them in their career aspirations.
Prioritisation: Work with stakeholders to ensure priorities align with commercial needs and the Engineering Strategy.
Ownership: Own streams of work from requirements gathering to design and production support.
Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement new processes and engineering practices to enhance effectiveness.
Tracking Progress: Monitor progress towards domain goals and communicate transparently with teams and management.
Operating: Take responsibility for deploying and supporting changes to ensure they work well in production.
Communicate: Share progress and ideas openly with your teams and senior management.
