## About the Role

Academic Software Plus is seeking a motivated Software Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain software applications that support business and customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in programming, application development, database management, and software troubleshooting., * Experience with software development, programming, or application engineering.

 * Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or PHP.
 * Understanding of software development life cycles and object-oriented programming principles.
 * Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
 * Knowledge of web technologies, APIs, and application integrations.
 * Experience identifying software defects and troubleshooting technical problems.
 * Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
 * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
 * Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with technical and nontechnical colleagues.

Preferred Skills

 * Experience developing business applications or database-driven software.
 * Familiarity with front-end frameworks or backend development frameworks.
 * Knowledge of cloud platforms, application hosting, and deployment processes.
 * Experience with automated testing and continuous integration tools.
