## About the Role

* Experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
 * Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.
 * Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and infrastructure automation.
 * Knowledge of CI/CD tools and Infrastructure as Code, such as Jenkins, GitLab and Terraform.
 * Understanding of secure infrastructure, monitoring and high-availability environments.
 * Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
 * Defence or Government project experience is highly desirable but not essential.
 * Must be eligible for SC clearance and be a sole British national.
 * Must meet the relevant UK residency requirements for clearance.

## Description

* Design, implement and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS.
 * Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters using technologies such as Docker and Helm.
 * Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
 * Implement infrastructure monitoring, security and compliance measures.
 * Optimise infrastructure for performance, scalability, availability and cost.
 * Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
 * Support and mentor junior members of the DevOps team where required.
