## About the Role

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and material specifications.
 * Experience with CAD software and ERP or MRP systems.
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills for customer and internal contact.
 * Working knowledge of machining, fabrication, or assembly processes.
 * Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering or equivalent experience.
 * Three or more years in a manufacturing or applications engineering role.

Bonus Qualifications

 * Project management experience on new product introductions.
 * Background in a contract manufacturing or job shop environment.
 * Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification.
 * Experience with CNC programming or CAM software.
 * Familiarity with lean manufacturing and root cause analysis tools.

## Description

* Maintain engineering documentation such as prints, routings, and bills of material.
 * Lead or support continuous improvement projects on the shop floor.
 * Review customer drawings and specifications to confirm the product can be built as requested.
 * Prepare cost estimates and technical proposals for new and repeat orders.
 * Develop manufacturing processes, tooling plans, and work instructions for production.
 * Support the sales team with technical questions and customer visits.
 * Troubleshoot production issues and recommend changes to improve yield and cycle time.
