## About the Role

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Familiarity with operation of some or all of the following systems:
*

 + Pressure Vessels
 + Pneumatics
 + Hydraulics
 + Electrical/Avionics

Familiarity with data analysis and failure troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience executing component or system-level testing individually or as part of a team.

Experience using Instrumentation and Data Acquisition systems such as the following:

 * Pressure/Temperature Transducers, Flow Meters, Multimeters
 * Labview, National Instruments Data Collection Systems

## Description

The ULA Decatur facility is the primary location for building and testing the Vulcan-Centaur rocket. The Systems Test Engineer is a critical role to ensure successful operation of the rocket prior to delivery to the launch site. This position will primarily be responsible for Propulsion System testing of the Centaur V Upper Stage.

The Systems Test Engineer responsibilities include:

 * Conduct component and system level tests as part of a team in accordance with engineering requirements and aerospace specifications.
 * Interpret drawing and engineering requirements and generate test procedures.
 * Support the production schedule as required to meet milestones.
 * Perform maintenance of Test Equipment to ensure readiness.
