We are seeking a qualified software engineer with a broad base programming skills who would be expected to assist with a variety of software applications, with good communication and mechanical skills and the ability to work independently or in a team setting in a variety of roles. The outstanding candidate would have hands-on experience including: * Design, develop, test, and deploy software that support engine test automation and data acquisition * Maintain and support existing software solutions and tools * Able to diagnose software/hardware issues quickly * Implement clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following internal standards and best practices * Assist in the integration of instrumentation and hardware interfaces into software systems * Participate in code reviews, testing, and validation of software releases to ensure system reliability * Work closely and collaborate with test engineers and internal customers to gather requirements and deliver functional software solutions * Work with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues in lab environments, often involving interaction between software and hardware systems
