## About the Role

Data Visualization, Data Analysis, Intelligence Community, Small Company, Thought Leadership, Customer Relations, Big Data, People Management, Multitasking, Internet Application, * 12+ years of relevant experience with a B.S. in a technical discipline, or 16+ years of relevant experience without a degree

## Description

You'll join a forward-deployed development team providing critical mission support. As a senior full-stack engineer, you'll work closely with analysts and operators to plan and architect solutions to complex intelligence problems. You'll have the opportunity to work on every part of the pipeline - from data ingestion to analytics to user-facing applications.

You'll sit next to operators to understand how they work and how you can support their workflows. You'll collaborate with analysts to understand their data and build analytics to aid them in making decisions supporting national security. As a senior engineer, you'll work across multiple projects and provide guidance on frontend and backend design plans, helping the team and customer create robust solutions on everything from big data problems to web app data visualizations.

Your day-to-day will include:

 * Developing webapps to intuitively convey data and analysis
 * Developing data transforms for every kind of data (text, JSON, databases, XML, configs, etc.)
 * Facilitating customer interactions to gather feature requests, understand new application requirements, and learn about project and customer needs
 * Gaining a deep understanding of mission objectives and data to help analysts figure out what the right questions to ask are
 * Maintaining and architecting existing and new applications and transforms to thoughtfully convey a better understanding of analytics and data
 * Managing and supporting mission-critical servers, working as both a developer of server frameworks and as a sysadmin when needed
