## Description

Work Model: Partial onsite, at least 3 days a week onsite and as needed (GPC)

Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, with some Sunday night after-hours work, occasional weekend work, and a Developer On-Call rotation, We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications built on Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Oracle, and REST/Web Services. This role works closely with business and compliance stakeholders to deliver enhancements and support a Compliance Notification System that automates critical business processes and regulatory communications. The role also provides technical leadership and drives modernization of long-lived enterprise applications., * Design, develop, test, and support enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Oracle, and REST-based services.

 * Support and enhance the Compliance Notification System, including triggering rules, recipients, templates, approvals, delivery tracking, exception handling, audit history, retention, and reporting.
 * Translate business and compliance requirements into technical solutions.
 * Lead application modernization and technical-debt remediation across the application portfolio.
 * Perform major framework and dependency upgrades (Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate).
 * Provide production support and troubleshooting, including participation in the on-call rotation.
 * Build and consume REST APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
 * Write and maintain automated tests; contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
 * Apply secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle.
 * Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and code quality.
 * Participate in code reviews, mentor team members, and promote continuous improvement.
