## About the Role

* Strong software engineering background and experience as a Software Architect, ideally with C# and .NET; strong transferable experience will also be considered.
 * Experience designing complex cloud applications, ideally in multi-tenant environments.
 * Experience building APIs and working with databases and distributed systems.
 * Knowledge of sound software design principles and security best practices.
 * Experience supporting quality through testing, code reviews, and clear technical standards.
 * Ability to communicate architectural decisions and collaborate with engineering and product teams.
 * Interest in improving development practices, including practical experience using AI tools.
 * Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.

* Own software architecture and design, translating complex requirements into practical technical solutions.
 * Guide the development of cloud applications, taking security, performance, scalability, and maintainability into account.
 * Stay involved throughout delivery, from design and implementation through testing and validation.
