About You

You'll be an experienced Data Platform Architect, Databricks Architect or Cloud Data Architect who has successfully designed and delivered enterprise-scale data platforms.

We're particularly interested in candidates who can combine strong Databricks architecture expertise with hands-on AWS knowledge, while providing technical direction across complex engineering programmes.

You'll be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, making architectural decisions and ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and maintainable.

## Description

We're looking for an experienced Data Platform Architect with strong expertise in Databricks and AWS to support the design and delivery of a modern enterprise data platform.

This is a senior, hands-on architecture role where you'll take ownership of technical design, establish engineering standards and help deliver secure, scalable cloud-based data solutions.

You'll work closely with data engineering, cloud infrastructure and security teams to shape the platform's architecture and support its implementation., * Lead the architecture and design of enterprise data platforms using Databricks and AWS

 * Define scalable Lakehouse architectures, including Delta Lake and medallion architecture
 * Design secure cloud infrastructure and data integration patterns
 * Implement data governance and access controls using Unity Catalog
 * Establish architecture standards and reusable engineering patterns
 * Support batch processing, streaming and data integration requirements
 * Define infrastructure and deployment approaches using Terraform and CI/CD
 * Ensure platform security, performance, reliability and cost efficiency
 * Review technical designs and provide architectural guidance to engineering teams
 * Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
