## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
 * 5+ years of backend web application development, building production services and APIs
 * Strong proficiency in C#, including OOP, async/await, LINQ, and modern language features
 * Deep experience with .NET, includingASP.NETCore and Web API development
 * Strong experience with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server, including schema design and query optimization
 * Solid understanding of RESTful API design, versioning, and integration patterns
 * Experience writing and maintaining unit and integration tests with xUnit or NUnit
 * Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
 * Working knowledge of performance, reliability, logging, and scalability in production systems
 * Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical decisions across a team

## Description

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of internal project management applications that support infrastructure projects and operations. Based in Fremont, CA, you will partner with development, validation, and business teams to build scalable services and APIs used by the Construction organization. These systems span project accounting, labor management, financial reporting, and insight and analytics capabilities that drive operational decisions., The role is primarily focused on backend architecture, service design, and business workflows. You will own technical direction for key areas of the platform, mentor other engineers, and help deliver reliable, maintainable solutions across a wide range of use cases. Frontend experience is a plus.
What You'll Do

 * Lead the design and development of services and APIs that support project management operations, with primary emphasis on backend systems, data models, and business workflows
 * Own technical decisions for assigned domains, including architecture, API design, data modeling, and integration patterns
 * Partner with product and business stakeholders to understand user needs, translate them into technical solutions, and identify opportunities to simplify and improve workflows
 * Drive reliability, performance, and scalability of applications, including observability, logging, and operational support
 * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and knowledge sharing
 * Participate in end-to-end process reviews, assess system impacts, and communicate trade-offs and recommendations to the team
 * Identify and lead improvements to development practices, testing strategy, and delivery workflows
 * Collaborate across software and data-oriented teams to align on standards and shared capabilities
