## About the Role

2+ years of professional software development experience, or equivalent internship, co-op, and project experience for early-career candidates; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Working knowledge of modern front-end technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js, with exposure to deploying on Vercel.

Back-end development experience in at least one of PHP, Node.js, Python, Java, or C#, and familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB).

Familiarity with RESTful API design, version control with Git, and an understanding of CI/CD pipelines.

Comfort using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) and an openness to adopting emerging AI technologies, paired with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn from feedback.

## Description

Develop and maintain front-end and back-end features for Wolfe's Merchant Solutions products, translating UI/UX designs into responsive, high-performance web experiences.

Write reusable, well-tested code and use AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, and Claude) to accelerate coding, refactoring, testing, and documentation.

Test and debug applications across devices and browsers to keep them fast, stable, and accessible.

Provide product support by investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving customer- or stakeholder-reported issues in partnership with support, product, and engineering teams.

Build, maintain, and support full-stack product features using Nest.js/AWS on the back end and Next.js/Vercel on the front end.

Collaborate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders, and document your code and decisions to support knowledge sharing across the team.
