Role Overview
We're hiring a Senior Oracle Database Developer to work on large-scale, complex enterprise Oracle environments. The role focuses on advanced PL/SQL development, performance tuning, and database modernization in a fast-paced, Agile setting.
This is a hands-on technical role for someone who enjoys solving tough database performance problems, leading upgrades, and working closely with multiple domain teams.
Must-Have Skills

 * 10+ years of Oracle database development in medium to large enterprise environments
 * Very strong in Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers using PL/SQL
 * Deep experience with Oracle 12c and 19c (development, tuning, and lifecycle management)

Strong performance tuning skills:

 * Interpreting ADR/ASH/AWR reports
 * Identifying bottlenecks and providing tuning recommendations
 * Solid UNIX/Linux and Shell scripting experience for automation and job support
 * Experience with Logical and Physical Data Modeling
 * Comfortable doing code reviews and enforcing coding standards
 * Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum team with multiple stakeholders

Nice-to-Have (Not Mandatory)

 * Experience with Oracle DB upgrades (e.g., 12c 19c)
 * Exposure to Exadata or large engineered systems
 * Basic understanding of Java to trace queries and stored procedures

Familiarity with:

 * Delphix
 * Snowflake or cloud data warehousing
 * Power BI
 * Control-M or similar scheduling tools
 * Some light DBA skills (monitoring, security, encryption basics), * BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
 * Methodical, accurate, and comfortable owning tasks end-to-end with minimal supervision
 * Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills under pressure
 * Clear communicator who can explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
 * Self-motivated team player who can balance changing priorities and deadlines
