## About the Role

The successful candidate will bring strong hands-on Appian development experience along with a solid understanding of solution architecture, application security, system integrations, database design, and the complete software development lifecycle. Experience connecting Appian with platforms such as PeopleSoft or Oracle is beneficial., * 4+ years of hands-on Appian development experience.

 * Experience working with Appian version 24.x or newer.
\n

 * Strong knowledge of Appian application development, architecture, integrations, data management, and security.
\n

 * Advanced SQL experience, including: Complex queries and joins, Stored procedures and functions, Triggers and indexing, Database performance optimization, Relational data modeling.
\n

 * Strong understanding of REST and SOAP web services.
\n

 * Experience working with JSON and XML.
\n

 * Security+ CE certification or another qualifying DoD 8570 baseline certification.
\n

 * U.S. citizenship is required.
\n

 * An active Department of Defense Secret security clearance or Public Trust clearance is required at the time of hire.
\n, * Appian Certified Senior Developer (ACD-201) or Appian Certified Lead Developer credential.
\n

 * Experience using Appian Data Fabric to connect and unify information from multiple data sources.
\n

 * Experience integrating Appian with enterprise ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or Oracle.

 * Familiarity with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and Component Interfaces.

 * Ability to partner with PeopleSoft technical teams to define services and integration requirements.

 * Java or JavaScript experience, particularly for developing custom plugins when standard Appian connectors do not meet project requirements.

 * Experience working within an Appian Center of Excellence.

 * Experience in Agile, DevOps, or continuous delivery environments.

 * Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to building secure, high-quality applications.
