## About the Role

* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
 * 1-2 years of hands-on experience from internships, co-ops or research roles in AI/ML or software engineering.
 * Strong Python skills plus working knowledge of Java, JavaScript and C/C++.
 * Practical experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, OpenCV and Pandas.
 * Familiarity with Docker, Git/GitHub, Linux and AWS cloud services.
 * Experience with NoSQL or graph databases (MongoDB, Neo4j) and search tools like Elasticsearch.
 * An understanding of reinforcement learning, NLP, or model tuning and optimization.
 * Experience working in Agile teams, with solid version-control habits.
 * Strong communication skills, including writing technical reports and presenting at conferences.
 * Curiosity and a research mindset. A publication record or exposure to life sciences or pharma is a plus.

## Description

* Develop, train and deploy ML and deep learning models with PyTorch, TensorFlow and scikit-learn.
 * Build NLP and data pipelines that pull insights from large, unstructured datasets.
 * Design scalable data workflows in Python and Pandas on AWS (EC2) for high-volume model training and evaluation.
 * Package and ship applications with Docker and Git, supporting smooth, reliable releases.
 * Build and maintain backend services and APIs in Python, Java and Node.js/Express.
 * Set up search and storage layers using Elasticsearch, MongoDB and Neo4j.
 * Deploy models to edge devices and connect alerts and notifications (e.g., Twilio SMS).
 * Work with scientists, engineers and business teams to turn domain problems into working AI solutions.
 * Test, monitor and tune AI applications, and resolve technical issues with senior engineers.
 * Build systems that meet enterprise security and compliance standards.
 * Present technical work and results clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
