## About the Role

* Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
 * Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Network Engineer within the last three (3) years.
 * Twelve (12) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
 * Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
 + Four (4) years of additional Network Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
 * IAT Level III baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M.
 * CCNA or CCNP certification.
 * Security+ certification.
 * Proficiency with Linux.

Desired Skills

Working knowledge of and the ability to use and/or support some, preferably most, of the following:

 * Juniper and Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
 * Palo Alto firewalls.
 * Dell and HPE Linux servers.
 * Experience patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
 * Ansible.
 * Nutanix - virtual machine management.
 * Rubrik - data storage.
 * Nomad containers.
 * SALT scripts.
 * LibreNMS.
 * NetBox.
 * Linux system administration experience.

## Description

This role supports network engineering activities, including the planning and implementation of network solutions, network infrastructure maintenance, security management, troubleshooting, performance monitoring, and technical documentation., * Develop, plan, and implement scalable network solutions, new network layouts, and upgrades.

 * Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, and firewalls, and associated software.
 * Implement and manage network security measures, including firewall rules, access controls, and security protocols to protect data.
 * Resolve network issues.
 * Monitor network health, analyze traffic patterns, and improve visibility through metrics and alerting.
 * Create and maintain network documentation, policies, and procedures.
