## Description

As a Senior Backend Solana Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain production-grade Solana programs and the backend infrastructure that supports them. You will be deeply involved in architecture decisions, performance optimization, and security considerations for live systems used at scale.

You will work alongside senior engineers, product, and infrastructure teams to ship reliable, secure, and scalable Solana-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

 * Design, develop, and ship production Solana programs using Rust
 * Own backend and systems architecture for transaction-heavy environments
 * Build and maintain backend services and APIs (gRPC, REST) supporting on-chain activity
 * Work with PostgreSQL and Redis for schema design, performance tuning, and debugging
 * Implement observability, testing, and benchmarking across systems
 * Contribute to security-first development practices in blockchain and financial contexts
 * Mentor other engineers and provide technical direction when needed
