## About the Role

Expertise in Kubernetes: In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes, including cluster management, deployment, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in managing Kubernetes resources using tools like kubectl and Helm.

Automation and Scripting: Strong scripting and automation skills, using languages such as Python, Bash. Experience with configuration management tool Ansible to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring and logging tools in Kubernetes, such as Prometheus, Grafana. Ability to set up monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection.

Applicants must have BS (or MS) in IT field or similar, 7 years (3-5 years for MS) of professional experience, including 3+ years experience in DevOps in Linux environment on-premise.

Knowledge of network switches (dell or cisco) and its setup and configuration is a plus. Qualified applicants must be detail-oriented, result-driven individuals who work well within team environments and have good communication skills.

Required Education / Experience:

 * BS or MS in IT field or similar is a must.
 * Strong experience with Kubernetes (k8s) setup and maintenance
 * Strong Ansible, experience with scripting for automation
 * Knowledge of Docker and similar container technologies
 * Knowledge of Prometheus
 * Knowledge of Grafana and dashboards
 * Software development experience

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Software development experience in C/C++ or Python
 * Familiarity with Conda/pip
 * Experience building complex solutions that have been successfully deployed for a large customer base
 * Knowledge of network switches and its setup and configuration (dell or cisco)
 * Setup and configuration of RStudio/Posit server products
 * Setup and configuration of JupyterHub/Lab, MATLAB or Tableu severs
 * Familiarity with SSO technologies, * Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:
