## About the Role

* Perform network-engineering tasks such as assessing and implementing firewall rules, establishing VPNs with partner companies, routing & switching, and implementing access control lists, evaluating and installing software upgrades on network and security equipment.
 * Understanding and working knowledge of TCP/IP, access-control lists, VPNs, SSL, IPSEC, DNS/IPAM and routing protocols such as OSPF, SDWAN, STP, and 802.x
 * Working experience with Cisco routing and switching, SD-WAN/Access, Cisco Any connect VPN environment
 * Experience with configuring, deploying and supporting Wireless, VoIP and Video teleconferencing solutions
 * Excellent problem solving / analytical skills and knowledge of analytical tools
 * Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
 * Developing and maintaining network inventory, SOPs and network diagrams

The resource must be available to work onsite five days a week in Bethpage, NY, with flexibility to support planned after-hours activities as needed.
