## Description

The Engineer 1 - Design Contractor supports the planning, design, and development of technical standards for natural gas distribution infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented engineer with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to contribute to the advancement of safe, efficient gas delivery systems. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to think critically, work independently, and communicate effectively across teams., * Support gas storage and fueling station design assignments.

 * Design pipeline components, mechanical systems, and functionality.
 * Assist in planning and designing mechanical equipment and support maintenance activities.
 * Perform system balances to assess and resolve pipeline system challenges.
 * Provide field support and oversight during construction activities.
