## About the Role

* Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English is required
 * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
 * Entry-level candidates and recent graduates are welcome to apply
 * Basic understanding of system development, programming concepts, web applications, and general IT systems
 * Interest in working on IT system development and improvement projects
 * Ability to understand technical information and communicate effectively with IT teams, business users, and external vendors
 * Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on action items
 * Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
 * Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new systems, technologies, and processes
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams
 * Previous experience or coursework related to IT projects, system development, programming, system testing, or technical support is a plus, but not required

## Description

One of our clients is looking for a Japanese-English Bilingual IT Specialist to support an IT system improvement/development project.

This position will work closely with IT teams and external vendors to support project administration, coordination, system-related processes, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has a good understanding of system development and implementation, basic programming concepts, web applications, and enterprise IT environments, and is comfortable working with technical teams and IT-related processes.

Main Responsibilities

 * Support IT system improvement and development activities in coordination with internal IT teams and external vendors
 * Coordinate vendor onboarding, system access requests, user/account setup, and other IT-related processes
 * Serve as a liaison between technical teams, business users, and vendors to facilitate communication and follow-up on project requirements and issues
 * Track system-related tasks, technical issues, action items, deliverables, and project milestones
 * Assist with the preparation and maintenance of system documentation, technical documents, project trackers, specifications, and other project records
 * Support system improvement and development activities, including coordination of testing, issue tracking, and follow-up with technical teams and vendors
 * Coordinate project-related IT requests, approvals, system changes, and related documentation
 * Participate in technical/project meetings, prepare meeting notes, and track technical action items through completion
 * Review established IT/project processes and identify opportunities to improve workflows, documentation, and operational efficiency
 * Provide bilingual Japanese-English communication and coordination support between technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors
 * Other related tasks
