## About the Role

o Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
o Professional Engineering (PE) License in Wisconsin.
o Experience in the industrial, commercial, and manufacturing sectors is a plus. This includes the ability to troubleshoot client structural problems/failures and provide structural inspections.
o Working knowledge of design standards and codes.
o Experience using structural computer software programs such as Bentley, Revit, or a similar program.
o Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and QuickBase.
o Strong communication and writing skills.
o Must have self-discipline and initiative skills.
o Ability to travel for client meetings or to job sites.

## Description

o Provide preliminary layouts using hand sketches, Bluebeam software or REVIT CAD software. This will also involve engineering judgement, experience and creative problem solving.
o Engineering design and detailing to be carried out in a timely manner using structural software or by hand calculations/sketches.
o Client communication to verify conditions or requirements. Includes client meetings on-site or in the company's office.
o Ability to function on multidisciplinary teams either as an effective leader or team member to meet project goals.
o Reviews and approves scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments. Prepare proposals to provide professional services.
o Reviews complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
o Update Project Notes, Tasks and Timecards in QuickBase regularly and timely.
