## About the Role

* ActiveTop-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
 * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other related field plus 8 years of relevant work experience; experience considered in lieu of degree
 * Strong Linux skills
 * Proficiency with virtualization technologies and network administration
 * AWS Certification (Associates or higher); similar level certification in alternate cloud environment would be acceptable
 * Strong Linux skills
 * Experience scripting (Python) and programming for automation
 * Proficiency with virtualization technologies and network administration

Minimum of 8 years of experience collectively with the following:

 * Hardware and network designs for large-scale enterprise applications such as cloud service providers, network design and implementation, datacenter experience, network/systems administration, domain administration, virtualization platforms, SaaS, PaaS
 * Experience implementing and maintaining security best practices, creating and maintaining documentation for architecture, configuration and processes
 * Experience establishing and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems for cloud and on-premises resources
 * Optimizing on-premises and cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance
 * Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to performance and availability
 * Monitoring large enterprise production applications
 * Troubleshooting production applications
 * Performance tuning and fault finding

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Scripting (PowerShell, JSON, yml)
 * Microsoft Endpoint for Defender
 * Anti-virus solutions
 * Log Management· SSH
 * Cross Domain Systems to include Everfox or Forcepoint
 * Networking

## Description

Perform additions and changes to network hardware, infrastructure server environments, and operating systems, and attached devices

Provide direct support in the day-to-day operations on network hardware and operating systems

Evaluation of system utilization, monitoring response time and primary support for detection and correction of operational problems

Maintain network infrastructure standards including network communication protocols such as TCP/IP

Troubleshoot the physical level of the network, working with network measurement hardware and software, as well as physical checking and testing of hardware devices at the logical level working with communication protocols

Participate in planning design, technical review and implementation for new network infrastructure hardware and network operating systems for voice and data communication networks

Provide technical consultation, training and support for IT staff

Responsible for design, deployment, evaluating, testing, certification, patching, addressing interoperability issues

Ensure systems are current with approved patches and assists with certification and system accreditation tasks, composes SOPs, and Quick Reference guides for users

Develop strategy of client/server system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy

Advise on selection of technology purchases

Set standards for the client/server relational database structure for the organization
