## About the Role

* 13 years of experience in Guidewire functional and automation testing
 * Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire policy center projects
 * Handson experience with typescript automation tools such as Playwright Taiko or JavaScript based frameworks such as Cypress Selenium
 * Hands on experience in Programming based Test Automation toolset and should be part of Test Design for minimum of 2 Years
 * Hands on Experience in working with Git Repository
 * Independently handle Test Code issue resolution updates Debugging
 * Exposure to QA lifecycle tools such as HP ALM JIRA or equivalent
 * Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards
 * Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting
 * Strong communication and collaboration skills
 * Knowledge on CI /CD
 * Knowledge of API testing tools like Karate Postman or RestAssured

Preferred Skills Nice to Have

 * Exposure to unit testing and mobile testing
 * Experience in improving test coverage and test strategy
 * Familiarity with performance testing tools CICD tools should be good

## Description

* Develop and maintain insprint automated test scripts for UI API and integration testing
 * Align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories
 * Execute automated tests log defects with detailed reproduction steps and support defect triage
 * Create and manage test data and environment configurations for automation
 * Identify and maintain reusable scripts for systemlevel and regression testing
 * Contribute to the automation regression suite and maintain automation assets
 * Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently
 * Follow automation best practices and participate in peer reviews
 * Prepare and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix RTM
 * Support manual testing efforts when required including test planning execution and reporting
 * Track and report QA metrics such as defect rates test coverage and productivity
