## About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, personable, and independent Field Service Technician to handle on-site service and repair across a wide variety of hardware, software, networking, and server environments.

If you are a skilled problem-solver who enjoys working independently, communicating directly with clients, and having flexibility in your schedule, we'd love to hear from you., * Experience: Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience in IT field service, desktop support, or computer repair.

 * Operating Systems: Proficient with Windows Desktop OS (Win 10/11, legacy OS support) and Windows Server OS (2012 through 2022).
 * Software & Networks: Proficiency with Microsoft Office / M365, Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), routers, switches, and peripherals.
 * Soft Skills: Ability to work independently without constant direction, strong diagnostic skills, and excellent professional communication.

Job & Physical Requirements

 * Tools: Must supply your own basic IT service tools (screwdrivers, cable testers/crimpers, etc.).
 * Transportation: Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and active auto insurance for local travel (up to 50 miles).
 * Punctuality & Professionalism: MUST arrive on time for all customer appointments dressed in clean, professional attire.
 * Physical Ability: Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, and lift equipment weighing 25+ lbs.

## Description

* Diagnostics & Repairs: Troubleshoot and perform hardware, software, and peripheral repairs on PCs, servers, printers, and monitors.
 * Installations & Deployments: Set up new workstations, servers, and peripherals. Add devices to workgroups or join them to Active Directory domains.
 * Networking Maintenance: Set up, configure, and maintain routers and switches. (Knowledge of punch-down cabling and patch panels is a plus).
 * Software Support: Support Windows Desktop and Server operating systems, Microsoft 365/Office suites, and standard 3rd-party applications (e.g., QuickBooks, Adobe, Java).
 * Customer Service: Communicate professionally and clearly with customers on-site and maintain regular communication with your supervisor.
 * Administrative: Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed and submit service orders in a timely manner., * Flexible Schedule: Flexible Monday-Friday schedule within an 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM operational window. Hours are call-driven based on incoming customer demand-providing day-to-day flexibility rather than rigid desk shifts.
