QUALIFICATIONS: (Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying)

 * Exposure to computers in a classroom setting.
 * Experience working with various computers at home, school, or business, etc.
 * Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid driver license. Ability to carry at least 50 lbs. and climb ladders and stairs.

## Description

The City of Laramie is accepting applications for a part-time IT Support Specialist position. Under direction, this position will perform a variety of entry-level support activities for the Information Technology Division., * Analyze problems, identify solutions and implement as directed.

 * Perform and monitor tasks that come through the online help desk platform and help employees over the phone on the help desk line.
 * Perform hardware maintenance and repairs as directed.
 * Prepare and maintain accurate and complete records.
 * Respond to inquiries and complaints.
 * Research information on technology and new applications.
 * Establish effective relationships with computer system users, backup personnel, software/hardware vendors, city officials and the general public.
 * Work on projects as assigned.
