## About the Role

* 3+years' experience deploying and supporting servers in a 24/7 production datacenter environment.
 * Stronganalytical skills.
 * Strongwritten and verbal communication skills.
 * Capableof working with minimal supervision.
 * Priorexperience in the installation of standard cabling technologies and rackinfrastructure including but not limited to seismic bracing, infrastructureaesthetics, and effective trouble shooting.
 * Unix/Linuxskills (preferred).
 * Understandingcabling and telecommunications standards including IEEE/ANSI/TIA/EIA (stronglypreferred).
 * Experiencesupporting SAN or NAS technologies (preferred).

## Description

The IT Service Technician plays a critical role inensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of data center environments. Thisposition is responsible for executing on-site build projects, supportingdeployments, and handling live production requests. The technician ensures thathardware installations, cabinet setups, and decommissions are performedefficiently and according to standard

What You'll do:

 * Technician is responsible for on-siteperformance of all build projects.
 * Beingon-site during normal businesshours.
 * Supportingboth new deployment or new builds, and live site/production requests.
 * Supportingcabinet installation and decommission as needed.
 * Supportingother operational activities supporting other CBRE and Client approvedoperation activities
 * Managingincoming/outgoing shipments.
 * Maintainingdata center cleanliness and organization.
 * Installinghardware in production and staging environments.
 * Maintaininginventory systems, providing timely updates on inventory levels, and performingquarterly cycle counts.
 * Managingsite growth by keeping the data center organized.
