## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; and
 * Four (4) years of IT experience; or
 * High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and
 * Seven (7) years of IT experience.
 * Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Three (3) years of telecommunications engineering experience.
 * Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) or equivalent experience.
 * Cisco, Firewall, Telecommunications, network monitoring systems, and Aruba experience.
 * SDWAN, SaaS, Datacenter, and enterprise networking level experience.

## Description

* Handles the procurement, acquisition, inventory, and disposition of network and telecommunications hardware and software.
 * Administers and manages information systems.
 * Collaborates with the Network Engineer III in execution of strategic plans.
 * Installs and supports local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), network segments, Internet, Intranet, and telecommunication systems hardware and software.
 * Analyzes and isolates network, firewall, and telecommunication issues.
 * Assists in the evaluation and modification of system performance and performs system and architectural improvements.
 * Maintains integrity of the network, telecommunications, and security of those systems.
 * Architects, engineers, installs, and deploys networks and various networking components.
 * Performs network email address assignment, assigns routing protocols, and routing table configuration.
 * Acts as mid-tier escalation point for networking and telecommunication support.
 * Travels to multiple locations during shift.
 * Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
 * Performs other duties as required.
