## About the Role

English Language, State Government, English Language, Language Teaching, School Attendance, Documentation, English as a Second Language (ESL/TESL), Training/Teaching, Communication Skills, Presentation/Verbal Skills, * Educational Level: A Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university in the area of education.

 * One-year experience as an ESL instructor teaching adults.
 * TESOL certificate preferable.
 * Excellent written and oral communication skills
 * Skills in using Excel, Power Point, Word, and online educational programs., Minimum qualifications for this position will be determined by the teaching discipline and compliance with appropriate accrediting bodies. Must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned

## Description

Performs all aspects of instruction for the non-credit Intensive English Program under the supervision of the Associate Director of the program. Evaluates student progress in attaining goals and objectives. Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports for CTC pertaining to student attendance, progress, and recommendation for next level of study.

 * Classes taught are in the mornings from 8:30am until 2:15pm Mondays and Wednesdays and from 8:30am until 12:15pm Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Note: Adjunct Instructor positions are part-time positions of employment appointed on a per academic term basis. Therefore, your employment is limited, and there is no expectation that your association with Chattahoochee Tech will be extended beyond this term.
