## About the Role

* 8+ years of IT Project or Program Management experience.

Vaco is hiring a Senior IT Project Manager & Portfolio Manager for a long term opportunity in Cincinnati, OH., Seeking a senior-level IT Program/Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of enterprise technology initiatives within a highly regulated public-sector environment. This individual will be responsible for technology roadmaps, governance, stakeholder management, and delivery across multiple concurrent projects spanning infrastructure, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, and enterprise applications.

Responsibilities

 * Manage a portfolio of technology programs and strategic initiatives.
 * Develop and maintain technology roadmaps aligned to organizational priorities.
 * Lead cross-functional efforts involving infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders.
 * Drive planning, prioritization, governance, risk management, and execution.
 * Partner with leadership to ensure technology investments align with operational goals.
 * Coordinate vendors, project teams, and interagency stakeholders.
 * Report on program outcomes, business value, risks, and progress to leadership.
