## About the Role

* 5+ years of software engineering experience
 * Proven experience shipping production systems, including agentic or automation-heavy workflows
 * Strong hands-on coding ability in Go and Python.
 * Experience building systems that interact with APIs, tools, and external services (not just prompt-based interfaces)
 * Demonstrated ability to define metrics and evaluate system performance rigorously
 * Experience writing clear technical design documents and driving alignment, * Familiarity with agent frameworks or orchestration systems
 * Experience in monorepo environments
 * Experience working on developer productivity tool
 * Startup or early-stage team experience

## Description

We are actively looking for a talented senior software engineer to join our growing Developer AI team, which builds the infrastructure, tools, and agentic workflows that Verkada engineers use every day. Example projects include running coding agents asynchronously at scale, building evaluation frameworks for agent quality, and connecting AI tooling into our monorepo and developer workflows.  * Build AI infrastructure that increases the productivity of all engineers at Verkada
 * Design systems that run AI agents asynchronously, balancing security, cost, and usability
 * Help define the Developer AI roadmap and lead planning
 * Create evaluation frameworks to measure agent performance
 * Partner closely with security, product teams, and other infrastructure teams to launch and support your services
 * Document and teach AI best practices to engineers across the company
 * Help with growing the team
