## About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare data (claims, eligibility, enrollment, etc.), hands-on expertise with Power BI, and the ability to work with stakeholders to translate business needs into insightful visualizations. Experience working with HIPAA-compliant data environments is highly desirable., * 6 - 10 years of experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.

 * Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modelling techniques.

 * Solid understanding of healthcare data, such as claims, eligibility, member/provider data, or clinical data.

 * Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL) and writing T-SQL.

 * Familiarity with healthcare compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PHI).

 * Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 * Preferred Qualifications:

 * Experience with EDI X12 (e.g., 837, 835, 270/271) or FHIR/HL7 healthcare data formats. Exposure to Azure Data Platform (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Power BI Service).

 * Background in working with large datasets and optimizing performance in Power BI.

 * Familiarity with Agile development and tools like Jira, DevOps Boards, or Confluence.

## Description

UST is searching for a Power BI Developer with experience in the healthcare domain to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports that drive data-informed decision-making across clinical, operational, and business teams., * Design, develop, and maintain visually compelling Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.

 * Translate business requirements into data models and meaningful metrics.

 * Connect to multiple data sources (SQL Server, Excel, cloud services, etc.) and build data models using Power Query and DAX.

 * Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and subject matter experts in the healthcare domain.

 * Ensure reports adhere to performance, usability, and accessibility best practices.

 * Validate and reconcile data across systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity.

 * Document report logic, data definitions, and visual elements for knowledge sharing and compliance.

 * Work within healthcare regulatory requirements such as HIPAA to manage sensitive data responsibly.
