## About the Role

* Experience with DO-178 software development and certification standards.
 * Proficiency in C++ programming.
 * Experience with software Verification and Validation (V&V) processes.
 * Experience with Flight Management Systems (FMS) and/or flight control software.
 * Experience testing existing software code against technical requirements and certification standards.
 * Knowledge of software testing methodologies, test execution, and defect identification.
 * Experience analyzing software functionality and identifying compliance issues.
 * Knowledge of avionics software development and testing processes

## Description

Performs software verification, validation, and testing of existing C++ avionics software for Flight Management Systems (FMS) and flight control applications to ensure compliance with DO-178 certification standards.
