## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree and 5 to 8 years of experience
 * Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
 * Strong front-end development experience with Angular, React, and TypeScript
 * Experience with Node.js and/or Python for back-end development
 * Strong experience developing REST and/or GraphQL APIs
 * Experience designing and developing microservices architectures
 * Experience with Kafka or other distributed messaging/event-streaming technologies
 * Experience with AWS, preferably AWS GovCloud and/or C2S
 * Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
 * Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
 * Experience with automated testing and software integration
 * Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, design patterns, and engineering best practices
 * Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
 * Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
 * Ability to obtain and maintain the required government clearance/background investigation

## Description

The Software Engineer will contribute to the full software development lifecycle and develop modern full-stack applications within a highly dynamic 24x7 mission environment. The ideal candidate has strong front-end and back-end development experience and can independently design and implement scalable, secure software solutions.

What you will do

 * Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and maintain complex software applications
 * Develop full-stack applications across both front-end and back-end technologies
 * Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular, React, and TypeScript
 * Design and develop back-end services using Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, and/or Python
 * Design and implement REST and GraphQL APIs
 * Develop and integrate microservices-based applications
 * Implement event-driven and asynchronous application architectures using Kafka
 * Design and develop applications for deployment within AWS GovCloud and/or C2S environments
 * Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes
 * Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
 * Implement automated unit, integration, and functional testing
 * Troubleshoot complex application, integration, and production issues
 * Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to software engineering standards and best practices
 * Participate in architecture and technical design discussions
 * Develop and maintain software architecture, technical design, API, and application documentation
 * Collaborate with systems engineers, cybersecurity teams, DevOps engineers, product owners, and other technical stakeholders
 * Support software integration, deployment, monitoring, and production operations
 * Apply secure software development and DevSecOps practices throughout the development lifecycle
 * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior software engineers
 * Participate in Agile and/or DevSecOps development environments
 * Perform other related software engineering duties as assigned
