## About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Data Engineer with strong expertise in Azure Databricks, Spark/PySpark, Python, SQL, and enterprise data warehousing. Banking or financial services experience is highly preferred., * 5+ years of Python programming experience.

 * 5+ years of SQL Server development, working with large datasets.
 * 5+ years of experience developing and deploying ETL pipelines using Databricks and PySpark.
 * Strong experience with Azure Databricks and Delta Lake.
 * Hands-on experience with Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses (Azure Synapse, BigQuery, Redshift).
 * Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including OLTP, OLAP, Fact Tables, Dimension Tables, and Data Modeling.
 * Experience designing and developing enterprise data warehouse solutions.
 * Knowledge of event-driven and streaming data technologies.
 * Experience with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
 * Strong understanding of cloud data architecture, data integration, security, and governance.
 * Experience optimizing and troubleshooting Databricks jobs for performance and scalability.
 * Strong architectural and design skills, including enterprise cloud data platform migration experience.

Preferred Skills:

 * Banking or financial services domain experience.
 * Apache Airflow experience.
 * Relevant cloud certifications.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Additional Requirements:

 * Senior-level candidates only.
 * Local NJ/NY candidates strongly preferred.
 * Must be comfortable attending a potential final face-to-face interview in NYC or Jersey City.
 * Hybrid onsite requirement: 1-2 days per week in Iselin, NJ.
