## About the Role

Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Test Equipment, Test Automation, Systems Engineering, Software Administration, Customer Support/Service, Testing, Product Support, * Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or its equivalent.

 * Technical experience in the Semiconductor IC Testing industry specifically on wafer or final test areas is a plus.
 * Proven experience in SoC testing on ATE systems.
 * Knowledge of Java or C++ Programming.
 * Knowledge with Linux Operating System and shell or other scripting language is a plus.
 * With self-driven attitude for continuous learning.
 * Demonstrated project management, good troubleshooting and strong structured problem-solving
 * skills.
 * Strong team player with good working attitude and excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to communicate well with all levels in the customer environments.

## Description

As an System Application Engineer you will be responsible providing support on applications related projects or topics for Advantest's Automated Test Equipment to our valued customers which include:

 * Support customer new products or ramp up projects by providing test solutions to product correlation and evaluation problems
 * Able to work closely with customers resolving test development and production testing related issues
 * Collaborate with Engineers and Sales to develop sales and support strategies
 * Able to execute support plans as part of the focused customer account team.
