You will work with State Medicaid and IT staff to document how Medicaid data moves between systems and to build the data management foundation for modernization. What you'll do * Gather requirements with State IT and program staff on data sources, current data mapping, and interface structure (no direct mainframe access; work is done through State IT) * Build an Interface Registry for all Medicaid applications * Write Interface Control Documents (ICDs) for interfaces that don't have one * Develop an Interface Management Plan * Create data models and, if none exists, a data warehouse structure * Build the Medicaid Data Catalog and Data Lineage * Develop a Data Governance & Management Plan with State stakeholders * Map data flows across Medicaid systems, reporting, storage, and security * Identify risks and recommend improvements to governance, integration, tools, and compliance * Produce monthly status reports
