## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
 * 6+ years of quality engineering in chemical manufacturing - adhesives, sealants, coatings, polymers or specialty materials
 * Experience implementing and maintaining a QMS, including ISO 9001
 * Hands-on root cause, CAPA, 8D, FMEA and SPC experience
 * Prior experience leading or supervising a team, even a small one
 * Experience with customer complaints, nonconformances and audits
 * Located within commuting distance of Seabrook, NH, or able to relocate at your own expense

## Description

Gabriella & Co. is partnering with the Adhesive Technologies division of a global chemical and consumer goods manufacturer to hire a Lead Quality Engineer at its Seabrook, NH plant. You will own the site quality program, lead root cause and CAPA work, maintain the ISO 9001 quality management system, and supervise a small quality team.
What you'll own

 * Site quality program and QMS maintenance, including ISO 9001 compliance and internal/external audits
 * Root cause investigations, CAPA, nonconformance management and customer complaint resolution
 * Quality improvement projects using Six Sigma, Lean, 8D, FMEA and SPC
 * Quality documentation: procedures, work instructions, control plans and inspection records
 * Cross-functional work with manufacturing, engineering, operations and supply chain to improve product and process quality
 * Supplier quality and incoming material qualification
 * Leadership and mentoring of quality technicians and engineers
