## About the Role

A good eye for color, composition, and presentation

 - A genuine passion for art and interior design
 - Retail experience is strongly preferred
 - Design or framing experience is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
 - Comfort navigating a computer, including Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Google Sheets, Google Slides, generating PDFs and utilizing our point of sale software
 - Strong phone and written communication skills, including texting and corresponding with customers through our various platforms.
 - Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects at once
 - Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

## Description

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Design Associate to join our Belle Meade showroom team. You will be one of the faces of our design process, working one-on-one with walk-in clients to help them choose the right frames, mats, glazing, and presentation for their artwork and heirlooms. You will take and log orders, input measurements, verify materials, and keep projects moving smoothly from intake through pickup., Consulting with walk-in clients to design custom framing and presentation solutions

 - Quoting jobs and recording special requirements accurately in our order system
 - Verifying materials and measurements for orders before they go into production
 - Storing customers' artwork securely and tracking its location
 - Communicating with customers in person and following up by phone, text, and email throughout the process as needed
 - Coordinating with the production and warehouse teams on order status and timing
 - Assisting with pickup, customer review, and handling questions or concerns
 - Managing ongoing projects and daily tasks using our Google Workspace
