You can recognize why an interface feels unfinished and translate that observation into a concrete implementation * Production-level experience with Vue (or a comparable component framework - React/Svelte/Angular) * Demonstrable experience implementing accessibility standards (WCAG) in shipped components, not just design reviews * A portfolio, GitHub, or work sample showing before/after component or interaction work (not just visual mockups), * Experience authoring and publishing native Web Components consumed outside their originating framework * Experience working across a mixed-framework stack - a JS framework alongside server-rendered templates (Django, Rails, HTMX, or similar) * Experience contributing to or maintaining a component library used by 10+ other engineers/teams * Familiarity with Storybook, Figma-to-code tooling, or similar design-system tooling * Experience in healthcare, fintech, or another data-dense enterprise product domain ## Description * Design, build, test, document, and maintain reusable pv-components within our internal design system (PitViper) * Create thoughtful component APIs, composition patterns, variants, interaction states, and extension points that serve emerging product needs * Ensure components work naturally within Vue applications while remaining useful as native Web Components in HTML and other server-rendered product surfaces * Partner closely with product designers and engineers throughout the development process, from early exploration through production implementation * Work directly in application code to refine layouts, interactions, responsive behavior, typography, spacing, focus management, transitions, and feedback states * Last-mile design delivery: implementation of details that are often missed between a design file and production, including loading, empty, error, success, disabled, hover, and keyboard-navigation states * Review product surfaces for visual, behavioral, and accessibility inconsistencies, then fix them at the appropriate level: within the feature, shared application code, or Pit Viper * Improve the documentation, testing, release processes, and contribution practices that make Pit Viper easier for other teams to adopt, Lead the structural design and development of primary and secondary aircraft structures for autonomous UAVs. Own CAD modeling, drawings, FEA, stress and fatigue analysis, material selection, design reviews, validation testing, and compliance documentation. Collaborate across aerodynamics, propulsion, avionics, manufacturing, and flight-test teams to transition designs into production and field deployment. Mentor engineers, support technical decisions, and improve engineering processes, configuration management, and design quality.
