## About the Role

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in structural design, analysis, and project delivery, and will serve as the structural lead and Engineer of Record for Mission Critical/Data Centers projects. This role is ideal for a licensed engineer who thrives in a technical leadership position, enjoys mentoring junior staff, and collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams., * Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on Structures from an ABET accredited university

 * Master's degree in Structural Engineering strongly preferred
 * Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from concept to completion
 * Active Professional Engineer (PE) registration
 * Structural Engineer (SE) registration strongly preferred
 * Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience, 10+ years preferred
 * Experience with Mission Critical/Data Center projects

Skills:

 * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-related manuals and documents
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
 * Experience with Autodesk Revit
 * Strong knowledge of building codes (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI)
 * Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

## Description

* Serves as Structural Lead and Engineer of Record for projects
 * Performs and oversees structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and foundation structures
 * Directs and mentors Junior Engineers and Structural Designers, providing technical guidance and quality control
 * Prepares and reviews calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports for accuracy and constructability
 * Coordinates with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery
 * Provides technical guidance on project scope, budgets, and schedules for assignments
 * Conducts site visits and construction observations to support design intent and resolve field issues
 * Completes assignments within budget and schedule while working with design teams involving multiple disciplines
 * Provides career development mentoring to early-career engineers
 * Assists in client contact and communication, and attends client meetings
 * Remains informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs or applications
 * Assists with the preparation of proposals
 * Stays current with applicable codes, standards, and best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
 * Performs other duties as required
