## About the Role

* Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
 * A minimum of 5 years' experience in software development.
 * Solid communication, documentation, and collaborative/teamwork skills.
 * Applied knowledge in object-oriented design and multi-threaded programming is desirable.
 * Engineering skills in one or more languages widely used for software development. C/C++ and Java are preferred, however either is acceptable. Experience with Python is also desirable.
 * Ability to work onsite in Syracuse or Utica, NY, with frequent support at AFRL Rome, NY.
 * Willingness to travel to customer locations.
 * Active TS/SCI Department of Defense Security Clearance is preferred. Otherwise, must have U.S. Citizenship and be eligible for a Department of Defense security clearance., * Bachelor's (Required), * in software development: 5 years (Required)
