## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 7+ years of software engineering experience; Four years of additional software engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
 * Proficiency with Back End software development using Python., * Experience developing and deploying Back End applications within cloud environments.
 * Foundational understanding of Docker and a general familiarity with Kubernetes environments.
 * Experience with Angular or React development.

Clearance Requirements:

 * Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Physical Requirements:

 * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
 * Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
 * Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

## Description

The Software Engineer will leverage their strong technical background and knowledge to design, develop, and maintain complex software systems while ensuring all functional and performance requirements are met., * Designing and coding new software or modifying existing software to add new features and functionality.

 * Analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements while debugging existing software to correct defects.
 * Developing and implementing algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
 * Integrating existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
 * Developing software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and conferring with users or system engineers.
 * Writing or reviewing software and system documentation to ensure process standards are met.
