## About the Role

* High School Diploma or equivalent
 * Formal education in CAD software (OnShape, PTC Creo, Solid Works preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

 * Experience with custom product engineering or manufacturing projects.
 * Associate's degree in engineering or related technical field preferred

## Description

The Design Engineer plays a critical role in supporting the manufacturing process by creating working designs of custom equipment while considering customer requirements, Eagle manufacturing processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with CAD experience, strong problem solving skills, and the ability to work independently., * Troubleshoot and develop design solutions to meet customers' needs.

 * Create working models and shop drawings utilizing 3D CAD software.
 * Prepare and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) for custom designs in support of manufacturing and MRP requirements
 * Interpret approved submittals drawings, project specifications, industry standards, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards to create manufacturing documents for fabrication.
 * Maintain organized and accurate engineering files and records within company systems
 * Collaborate with teams inside and outside Eagle to clarify and outline design details.
 * Continue to drive innovation across operations
 * Other duties as needed
This is an on-site position. Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Clayton, DE to support consistent attendance and schedule flexibility.
