## About the Role

We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team and translate our customers' goals into working software throughout the stack from automated configurations to model definitions, calculation APIs, and building intuitive user interfaces. The most important qualifications are a passion for quality software and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and approaches.

Qualifications:

 * Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience

 * 3+ years of software development experience in a professional and/or academic setting

 * Experience with Python, Ruby, JavaScript, or equivalent dynamic languages

 * Experience with C#, Java, C/C++, Typescript, or equivalent static languages

 * Experience with any of the following: data engineering, web/mobile application development, systems/security software development

Preferred Competencies:

 * Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed

 * Ability to write in English fluently and idiomatically

 * Advanced degree or equivalent experience in engineering, computer science or other related technical field

 * Experience with agile/scrum methodologies

 * Financial services industry experience

 * Experience with any of the following:

 * Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQLServer

 * Airflow, Kafka, AWS, serverless/microservice architecture

 * TDD, BDD, Numpy/Scipy/Pandas, React, Angular, Vue.js, Node, Ansible

 * New Relic, ELK

## Description

While this position is remote-work eligible, you are required to report to the Company's offices for orientation and your first week of work, and on a periodic basis thereafter. Travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with Dimensional's policies.
