## About the Role

Desktop Administration, Desktop Administration, Customer Support/Service, On Site Support, Laptop PC, Microsoft Windows Operating System, Computer Workstations, Cable Software, Hardware Installation, Local Area Network (LAN), You will install PC's, LANs, and cabling software as well as assist in imaging workstations and laptops with Windows software. Proficiency with all hardware and software used by all customers will be required

Skills and Knowledge you must have:

Working knowledge of computer software and hardware with excellent interpersonal and oral communication.

Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining courtesy and professionalism, and the ability to learn new and updated software and hardware.

You may assist in PC moves so must have the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. on a frequent basis and travel as needed.

What you need to know:

Proficient knowledge of MS Office, TCP/IP, and Windows Active Directory environment including:

 * Windows Server 2003/2008 familiarity, Cabling skills (Phone and Data)
 * Ability to work with Wireless Access Points, Routers and Switches
 * Windows Server Group Policy Management
 * Windows SQL Server Experience, * High school diploma or its equivalent and/or minimum 1 year related experience
 * BS in Computer Science or related field preferred
 * Previous help desk and/or educational industry experience preferred
