Nice to Have: (But not a must) * Advanced experience with Go-based enterprise application development. * Experience building high-volume distributed systems and cloud-native microservices. * Experience implementing enterprise DevSecOps and Secure Development Lifecycle programs. * Experience with advanced Infrastructure-as-Code platforms and automated cloud provisioning. * Experience with application-security scanning, dependency-management, and vulnerability-management tools. * Experience supporting large-scale Kubernetes environments. * Experience working across multiple cloud platforms. * Experience leading secure software-engineering or DevSecOps modernization initiatives. ## Description * Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions using Go, Java, JavaScript, and/or Python. * Build scalable, secure, and resilient applications using cloud-native architecture and modern software-engineering practices. * Design and develop distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and reusable application components. * Participate in system design activities and contribute to application architecture, technical strategy, and engineering standards. * Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, security, and adherence to engineering standards. * Evaluate and integrate appropriate open-source technologies into enterprise applications and engineering solutions. * Design, implement, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting automated build, testing, security validation, and deployment activities. * Integrate automated security testing into CI/CD processes, including source-code scanning, dependency analysis, and related security controls. * Develop automation to support continuous integration, automated testing, secure deployments, and engineering productivity. * Promote and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices across application and cloud environments. * Champion Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices and embed security considerations throughout software design, development, testing, and deployment. * Conduct and support threat-modeling activities and security-design reviews for applications and technical solutions. * Analyze security findings and collaborate with engineering and security teams to define and implement remediation actions. * Develop applications and services using containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. * Design and support applications deployed on cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform. * Apply secure coding principles and software-design patterns throughout the application development lifecycle. * Collaborate with application engineering, platform, cloud, DevOps, cybersecurity, and other cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions. * Troubleshoot complex application, integration, deployment, cloud, and security-related issues and implement appropriate technical solutions.
