This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role suited to someone who enjoys solving problems, teaching others, and keeping clinical systems running smoothly behind the scenes. In downtime between EMR-related work, the EMR Analyst also assists with light Tier 1 helpdesk needs, helping keep the broader IT team responsive., Day-to-Day Support & Escalation * Provide day-to-day functional support to end users for WellSky Specialty Care and Cerner, including troubleshooting workflow, charting, and access issues. * Triage and resolve issues directly when possible; coordinate and track higher-level tickets escalated to WellSky Specialty Care support through resolution. * Maintain clear documentation of issues, resolutions, and system configuration changes. Facility Setup & Implementation * Support new facility and department setup within WellSky Specialty Care and Cerner, including build configuration, workflows, and go-live readiness. * Assist with system implementations, upgrades, and module rollouts, coordinating timelines and testing with clinical and IT stakeholders. * Serve as Project Manager for EMR roll-outs. Training & Onboarding * Deliver end-user training and onboarding for new staff and new facilities on WellSky and Cerner workflows. * Develop and maintain training materials, quick-reference guides, and job aids to support consistent, compliant system use. Reporting, Interfaces & Data * Support and maintain data reports used by clinical, operational, and compliance teams. * Assist with monitoring and troubleshooting interfaces between WellSky, Cerner, and other connected systems. * Partner with vendors and internal teams to investigate and resolve interface or data discrepancies. General IT Support * Assist with light Tier 1 helpdesk tasks during downtime, such as password resets and basic account access requests. * Escalate non-EMR technical issues to the appropriate IT team member as needed. Compliance * Ensure EMR configuration and support activities align with HIPAA, hospital policy, and applicable regulatory standards. * Maintain confidentiality of patient, employee, and organizational information at all times.
