We are looking for campaign experts interested in a professional opportunity to learn and develop new data skills while working to support the electoral and grassroots programs run in all of For Our Future's states. For Our Future is proud to run a data-driven program, and this is made possible by our dynamic and mission-driven data team helping to drive our program nationwide. The Data Coordinator shall serve as the point person for extracting, transforming and loading field data across voter contact platforms, assist in compliance reporting, and work with the data team to develop materials and curricula for trainings directed at technical and non-technical audiences. This role will also help states leverage organizational data to advance progressive change, and empower teams that build power, and contribute to winning elections. This position is anticipated to run through at least November 28, 2024. Essential Functions (Updated scope for 2026) * Reviewing voter contact materials including door, phone and sms scripts * Refreshing turf daily and making sure the correct universe is being used for all canvass programs * Implementing quality control and technical assistance for state programs, including daily reviews of turf management tools to confirm staff activity is logged correctly, and turf is ready for the days program * Building scripts in VAN, including survey, questions, script, content, and MiniVAN Campaigns, and testing script flow before launch * Collaborating with state staff to ensure voter contact materials are administered smoothly, including daily check-in to confirm scripts and program for the next day * Checking active texting campaigns for correct script branching, and providing texting admin coverage * Monitoring the data team slack support channel, responding to staff requests, and troubleshooting VAN access issues * Reconciling MiniVAN Activity report reports against state Turf Trackers to make sure all information about the canvas program is being properly maintained and reported * Logging and escalating persistent data problems, staff data issues, or bottlenecks to the national data team * Supporting staff onboarding and training on VAN, MiniVAN, and data processes, including setting up VAN accounts for new hires * Working with state staff to ensure that voter contact materials are executed in a culturally competent fashion * Working with the National Data Team and National Organizing Team on other program tasks as assigned * Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
