## About the Role

Orcatec is seeking a reliable and technically skilled Systems Administrator to maintain, monitor, and support IT systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience managing operating systems, troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining system security, and ensuring reliable access to business applications. This role involves supporting daily IT operations and improving system performance, stability, and security., * Associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

 * Knowledge of Windows or Linux system administration.
 * Understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, DHCP, and user access management.
 * Familiarity with system monitoring, backup procedures, and troubleshooting.
 * Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
 * Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

 * Experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
 * Familiarity with virtualization platforms and cloud infrastructure.
 * Basic scripting knowledge using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
 * Understanding of cybersecurity practices and disaster recovery.
 * Experience with IT service management and ticketing systems.
